Rescue 1

• We rejoice that our grade 7-12 high school on site is up and running since the beginning of December.
• We thank God for a new house mother for one of our homes.
• We are grateful for the Cambodian businesses who have come with food and clothing donations.
• The children are learning more and more English with teaching from Henry Goertzen and Neige Heinrichs.

Rescue 2

• Two of our young adults are attending the Discipleship Training Centre at YWAM for six months in the city of Battambang before heading off to university. 
• Our property, buildings, and sewer systems have all been upgraded
• The government laid a new gravel road leading from the highway to our centre.

Rescue 3

• Our children are studying very well and are getting good results on their school reports.
• Most of our children do chores like washing clothes, cleaning inside and outside their homes, helping with cooking meals, all willingly and happily.
• The children are learning English and enjoying having Canadians, Carman and Twyla Dutz, teaching them.
• Our vegetable gardens are flourishing, and we are sharing with our neighbors.
• Two of our young adults graduated from university and have already found jobs!
• We have been able to arrange a tutorial math class and an electricity vocational training course on the weekends for our junior and senior high school students.

Rescue 1

• Pray that our teachers will teach well and that our students will learn and enjoy it.
• Pray that those children who have experienced past trauma and want to run away, will feel loved and belonging.
• Pray for those who are grieving the death of one of our house fathers due to cancer.
• Pray for one of our house mothers who is unwell.

Rescue 2

• Pray that our children and staff will have good health, protection, and God’s continual provision. 
• Pray that our staff will have wisdom in caring for our children.

Rescue 3

• House mom, Suos Saly, who was very sick, is back with us. Pray for full restoration of her health and that she will be able to walk properly.
• Pray that house parents and their children will submit one to another more and more.
• Pray that the Lord Jesus will guide and protect our children to live life as salt and light wherever they go.
• Our children catch the flu, mumps, and fevers. Please pray for good health.
